Chocolate, Chocolate and More Chocolate

It is officially the week of Valentine’s Day. 188 million Valentine cards are exchanged annually, making it the second most popular greeting card occasion. (This doesn’t even include all of the cards that are exchanged in school classrooms.) Over 50 percent of all cards are purchased during the week leading up to Valentine’s Day.

The bookstores are full of Valentine books for children. Flower shops are crowded and of course, this is one of the busiest times of the year for chocolate companies.

I have compiled a list of some of the top chocolate companies. Certainly this list is not complete, but it is a very good start. Everyone has different preferences in chocolate, so it is best to explore the sites and see what is appealing to you.

If you are ordering for Valentine’s Day you may have already missed some of the special collections, but it is still fun to visit the sites and see the beautiful works of art. Besides, chocolate doesn’t have to be just for Valentine’s Day.

I will also be focusing on individual chocolate companies throughout the next few weeks.

Pull out a chocolate bar and enjoy. Make time for chocolate.

The following chocolate companies are ranked by price. The list begins with the most expensive chocolate (but not necessarily the best. Explore and find a new favorite.
