Lost in the Maze

Have you ever been in a garden maze where the shrubbery is so high you can only see the path in front of you?

At first it is exciting to run through the maze searching for the path that leads to the exit. It is challenging to draw a mental map detailing the paths you have already taken.

It is fun to maneuver through the bushes searching for the answer, but after a lot of wrong turns and dead ends it starts to become extremely tiring. It is easy to get confused and become frustrated and discouraged.

If, however, you are able to climb above the maze and look down at the pattern, it is very easy to see the path you should take.

Have you ever been in a situation where your problems seem overwhelming and everywhere you turn for answers you find a dead end? Are you tired and frustrated with the path you are currently taking?

Perhaps it is time to step away from your problems and try to understand them from a different perspective. Perhaps, like the maze, you will be able to see the answers more clearly if you view the situation from a different perspective.

Slow down this week and take a mini break from the problems that are causing you stress. Try to look at your life from a new perspective. Perhaps you will find an even more interesting path to follow.

Find your way out of the maze and begin to enjoy life. Make time for chocolate.
