Marie Belle New York

Marie Belle wins the awards for the best store atmosphere and the most colorful chocolate. The store in SoHo is beautifully arranged with the shelves full of the famous blue and brown boxes and collectible tins. A large chandelier draws customers back into a small French café that offers some of the best chocolate drinks.

The chocolate is displayed like pieces of jewelry in a glass case. A 4-piece box is $12, making this one of the most expensive places on my list of New York City chocolate stores.

The chocolate is packaged in a beautiful blue box with a dark brown ribbon. All of the items are placed in a clear plastic bag with fabric rose petals sprinkled on top. It was a shame, however, after the beautiful packaging, to find a large crack on the chocolate when I got home.

Marie Belle is a great place to meet friends for a cup of chocolate. It is also a wonderful place to find unique gifts for someone who already has everything.

The hot chocolate is very good. The pieces of chocolate are beautiful. The flavor is good, but you can find similar quality (without the art) for a less expensive price. If you want beauty, this is the place. If you want flavor, there are other less expensive options available in the city.

Overall, it is a wonderful place to visit.
